Peter has enjoyed a diverse career spanning corporate social responsibility, nonprofit management, marketing, employee engagement, and software development. Prior to joining Cancer Support Community, he ran global employee giving and volunteerism for Wells Fargo for 17 years. Before joining Wells Fargo, Peter held various roles in high tech startups, from Marketing Director to software development to community management. In his career, he’s worked on the first stealth aircraft (the B-2 Spirit), the first PDAs (the Casio Zoomer), and the first smart phones (the Nokia 9000). Peter is honored to serve on the Community Health Charities national board of directors and has served on and chaired both the Charities@Work Corporate Advisory Council and United Way Worldwide's Global Corporate Leadership Council. An author in his spare time, Peter has published several novels. He is the proud father of two grown children and, as the parent of a transgender child, is a fierce advocate for equality.
