Build With AI is the current Core Lab: a weekly open lab where you bring a real project and leave with a working tool. Genome Labs go deeper: longer commitments, original research, field-building work.

Lab Types

Core Labs

Framework-driven working sessions built around specific RW Institute models. Each Core Lab targets a defined skill or application area. You learn by doing, with a facilitator who knows where the friction points are.

  • Single-session format, 2 to 3 hours
  • Pre-reading or brief prep required
  • Small cohorts, capped registration
  • Produces a usable artifact or action plan
genetics

Genome Labs

Longer-arc working groups that take on field-level questions. Genome Labs run over multiple sessions and produce original research, frameworks, or tools that don't yet exist. These are for practitioners who want to build the field, not just work in it.

  • Multi-session commitment, 6 to 12 weeks

Build With AI is a weekly open lab where you bring a real project and leave with a working tool. Not a concept. Not a plan. Something that works.

Every session is live, facilitated, and hands-on. You show up with a problem. You build the solution. The people around you are doing the same thing with their own projects, and the cross-pollination is half the value.

What You'll Actually Build

  • Standing up a client-facing web application using Lovable
  • Automating a reporting workflow that currently eats four hours a week
  • Building a research tool that pulls, synthesizes, and formats data from multiple sources
  • Creating a branded slide deck that looks like a design team produced it
  • Generating video content with MiniMax
  • Prototyping an internal dashboard for their team

The Tools We Use

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Manus, Lovable, MiniMax, DeepSeek, and Kimi. You'll learn when to reach for which tool. That instinct is worth more than mastery of any single platform.
